MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT
1. Introduction
Alight Travel Ltd ("Alight Travel", "we", "us", "our") is committed to the prevention of modern slavery and human trafficking in all forms. This statement sets out the steps we take, both within our own business and across our supply chain, to ensure that modern slavery and human trafficking are not taking place in any part of our operations or those of the partners we work with.
This statement is made on a voluntary basis. Alight Travel does not currently meet the turnover threshold under section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 that would require a statement to be published, but we consider it appropriate to publish one given the nature of our work with ultra-high-net-worth clients and the standards expected by our partners.
2. Our Business
Alight Travel Ltd is a private travel management company registered in England and Wales (Company No. 17094672), with its registered office at 11 Old Bond Street, Mayfair, London, W1S 4PN. We provide aviation, chauffeur, film and production logistics, events, security, and lifestyle services to private clients, family offices, and corporate clients.
We do not own aircraft, vehicles, or operational infrastructure. Services are delivered through a curated network of vetted suppliers and operators, many of whom are themselves subject to industry licensing and regulatory oversight.
3. Our Supply Chain
Our supply chain is comprised principally of:
- Licensed aircraft operators and aviation brokers.
- Licensed private hire and chauffeur operators.
- Hotels, members' clubs, and venue partners.
- Security providers operating under SIA licensing.
- Production and event suppliers, including crew, transport, and location services.
- Professional service providers such as legal, accounting, and IT support.
We work with a small, deliberately curated panel of suppliers, most of whom operate within regulated industries with their own compliance and licensing frameworks. This concentration allows us to maintain close oversight of working practices.
4. Our Policies
Alight Travel maintains the following policies relevant to the prevention of modern slavery:
- A zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking in our own operations and across our supply chain.
- Standard supplier engagement terms requiring compliance with all applicable employment, immigration, and labour laws.
- Clear procedures for reporting concerns, including direct escalation to the Managing Director.
- A commitment to ongoing review of supplier conduct as part of our routine vendor management.
5. Due Diligence
Our due diligence is proportionate to the size and nature of our business. Before engaging a new operator or supplier, we assess their licensing, regulatory standing, public reputation, and any reported issues relating to working practices. We give clear preference to operators with their own published modern slavery and ethical sourcing statements where available.
We retain the right to terminate any supplier relationship where credible concerns relating to modern slavery or human trafficking arise, without prejudice to any other remedy available to us.
6. Risk Assessment
We consider the inherent risk of modern slavery within our supply chain to be low. The majority of our suppliers operate within heavily regulated industries, including aviation, licensed private hire, and SIA-regulated security, where workforce documentation, licensing, and oversight reduce the practical scope for unlawful labour practices. The principal residual risks we consider are:
- Subcontracted services within larger supplier organisations, where visibility may be reduced.
- Cross-border services involving jurisdictions with weaker labour protections.
- Hospitality and venue staffing, where reliance on agency or temporary workers is higher.
We address these risks through supplier selection, ongoing dialogue, and willingness to escalate concerns directly with senior management at the supplier.
7. Training and Awareness
Given the size of Alight Travel, modern slavery awareness is currently maintained through direct engagement at management level rather than through formal training programmes. As the business grows and recruits, training on modern slavery indicators and reporting procedures will be incorporated into onboarding.
8. Reporting Concerns
Any client, supplier, or member of the public with a concern relating to modern slavery in connection with Alight Travel or any of its suppliers is encouraged to contact us directly. All reports will be treated in confidence and investigated appropriately.
9. Approval
This statement has been approved by the Managing Director of Alight Travel Ltd and will be reviewed and updated annually, or sooner if circumstances require. It is signed and dated below on behalf of Alight Travel Ltd.
