How Alight is structured.
Alight Travel Ltd is a private travel management house based in Mayfair, London. We act as the single point of contact for our clients across chauffeur, aviation, security and concierge services, and we manage every relationship directly.
Every booking placed through Alight Travel is sold under the appropriate industry accreditation, with the regulatory framework, financial protection and consumer protection that those credentials guarantee. Where flight-inclusive arrangements, packaged travel or ticketed travel are involved, the corresponding accreditation is applied to the booking automatically.
Our clients receive the protection of the credentials below in full. The accreditations that apply to a specific booking are confirmed in writing at the point of reservation, alongside any documentation required by the relevant scheme.

ATOL
Air Travel Organiser's Licence
WHAT IT IS
The UK Civil Aviation Authority's financial protection scheme for flight-inclusive travel arrangements. ATOL ensures that if a travel provider fails financially, customers are either flown home or refunded.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
Any flight-inclusive arrangement booked through Alight Travel is ATOL Protected. You receive an ATOL Certificate at the point of booking, confirming financial protection in the event of supplier failure.
TTA
Travel Trust Association
WHAT IT IS
A UK financial protection scheme that holds 100% of client funds in trust, covering travel arrangements that fall outside the scope of ATOL, such as hotel-only bookings, ground arrangements, and bespoke itineraries without commercial flights.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
Non-flight-inclusive bookings placed through Alight Travel are held in a TTA-protected trust account. Your funds are ringfenced from the trading account of the travel provider until your travel is complete.
IATA
International Air Transport Association
WHAT IT IS
The global accreditation body for the airline industry. IATA accreditation authorises an agency to issue tickets on behalf of member airlines and to handle airline reservations through the global distribution system.
WHAT IT MEANS FOR YOU
Flights booked through Alight Travel are issued through IATA-accredited routes. This guarantees that ticket stock is genuine, fares are sourced from authorised distribution, and all bookings comply with airline industry standards.
